The AKdrones e-bike Expeditionary Airfield
Last year, I installed a Yescom 26-inch, 48 Volt, 1000 Watt Rear Hub Motor, and Haillong 48 Volt, 10Ah e-bike Battery on my 2008 ZED 2.0 Mountain Bike.
This year, I increased the weight, range, luggage capacity, and scope of use for my e-bike with upgrades and modifications from Amazon and Walmart.
I installed a drone remote control platform, a Lumintrail Center Mount Double Leg Kickstand, a Yizhet Bike Handlebar Extender, a Voilamart Cargo Rack, a Voilamart Universal Torque Arm, a Haillong 48 Volt, an 8Ah e-bike Battery, a Feisike rearview camera, Higo Dual Battery Converter with 12 Gauge 2 Conductor wire and XT60 Connector Plugs are all installed in a Zimfanqi Rear Rack Bag with Dual Hoot LED Lights, a pair of Mountain Bike Fenders, Upnord Mini Bike Air Pump, Hapleby Bike Pedals, Kryptonite Krypto Flex Bike Lock, wsdcam Bike Alarm, Dinoka Bike Computer, Customized AlpsWolf Headlamp, Kirikit Bike Wheel Lights x 3, Windfire Laser Light, Goodyear Presta Valve innertubes, removed and replaced the twist throttle with a 300X e-bike thumb throttle, removed and replaced front and rear brake calipers with XTECH HB-100 Hydraulic Front and Rear Brake Calipers. An unfolded ready-to-fly DJI Mini 2 with Prop-Guards fits perfectly in the Kemi Moto Saddlebags. 3 Drone batteries provide up to 93 minutes of flight time. Thus, a fully functional e-bike aircraft carrier with an AKdrones Squadron onboard is created.

The AKdrones e-bike EAF has a standard 2 feet 4-inch diameter circle landing pad with landing lights and a wind flag. however, the AKdrones e-bike EAF landing pad is 3 feet above the ground, secured to the e-bike with 3 bungee cords fastened to Himiway Handlebar Grips, and the Gincleey e-bike seat.
The AKdrones e-bike EAF has reflective matting to prevent the Drone from sliding off the Airfield during takeoff and landing. The same red reflective tape is applied to the DJI Mini 2 to discourage and avoid bird attacks.
For cold-weather e-biking, Rockbros Fleece Lined Windproof & Water-Resistant Thermal handlebar Mittens are installed. Rockbros Polarized Fit Over Glasses Sunglasses with 100% UV400, and Rockbros Balaclava Mask are also used
The AKdrones e-bike EAF has 8 Modes of Operation.
Mode 1 - e-bike riding.
Mode 2 - UN-powered e-bike riding. (rear hub motor and e-bike batteries removed, an 8-speed OEM wheel with WTB thick slick comp rear tire installed.
Mode 3 - e-bike vlogging.
Mode 4 - AKdrones landing pad.
Mode 5 - e-bike riding tracking by drone.
Mode 6 - AKdrones Charging Hub.
Mode 7 - AKdrones Mobile Studio.
Mode 8 - Stationary Exercise Bike (Signature Fitness Bike Trainer Stand, 8-speed OEM Wheel with WTB Thick Slick Comp Rear Tire installed).
